Recommended Action
I move that the Council approve the Grant Agreement and authorize the County Manager to execute all related documents.

Body
The Incorporated County of Los Alamos has been awarded $1,000,000 (One Million Dollars) in State capital appropriation funds for renovations at the Betty Ehart Senior Center. The funding will be used to replace and upgrade the HVAC system, windows, and other facility improvements.
The Grant Agreement specifies the appropriation amount and the reversion date and has been reviewed by the County Attorney's office. This action seeks Council approval of the Grant Agreement and authorization for the County Manager to execute all necessary documents to secure the funds from the State of New Mexico.
Alternatives
Not receiving the funds would revert them to the State of New Mexico and place the entire construction cost of Betty Ehart Senior Center on the Los Alamos County.
