Title

Discussion and Possible Action on Changes to the Charter for Inclusivity Task Force

Recommended Action

I move to approve the revised Inclusivity Task Force Charter with the following changes: ____________.

Body

Council created the Inclusivity Task Force and approved their charter on August 6, 2024.  Attachment A shows the charter for the Inclusivity Task Force.  Seven members were appointed on October 8, 2024.  This task force has begun their work and are currently meeting approximately every three weeks.  Recently, a member resigned from the task force and there was some discussion about increasing the number of members of the task force.  This item is to allow discussion and possible action on any changes to the current Inclusivity Task Force charter including a change to the number of members.

Alternatives

County Council could decide not to make any changes to the charter.

Fiscal and Staff Impact/Planned Item

There is no fiscal or staff impact due to this item. Council approved additional Board and Commission staff support in the Fiscal Year 2025 Adopted Budget.
