Overview of NM Recycling and Solid Waste Conference: Circularity in Action

Angelica Gurule, Sustainability Manager, attended the NM Recycling and Solid Waste Conference, and will provide an overview. The conference focused on circularity, or the reuse and regeneration of materials or products, especially in a sustainable or environmentally friendly way. Areas of interest included battery stewardship, building public confidence in recycling, organics diversion, hard to manage materials including PFAS, and food waste reduction.
