Discussion on Establishing Local Regulations for Mobile Food Vending

The purpose of the discussion is to get direction from County Council to include within Los Alamos County Code provisions concerning allowing mobile food vending on private land, public land, and public right-of-way. Planning staff along with Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation (LACDC) have conducted a public survey to get input regarding need of mobile food vending operations within Los Alamos County. Upon direction from County Council, Planning staff will prepare a proposed text amendment to Chapter 16 in response to growing needs of businesses to provide mobile food vending services in Los Alamos County.
