Recommended Action
I move that Council approve the purchase of dHCI Cluster Server Hardware phase 2 to Consolidate and Standardize Application Infrastructure from Advanced Network Management (ANM) in the Amount of $310,835.09 including shipping, plus applicable New Mexico Gross Receipts tax.
County Manager's Recommendation
The County Manager recommends that Council approve this purchase as requested.
Body
This hardware platform is where most core software systems are hosted and operate from. Such systems include Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), network control and management systems, wireless control and extensive database and data storage, etc. Phase 1 is a platform upgrade replacing an existing HCI (HyperConverged Infrastructure) platform that was end-of-life. This phase includes the conversion of Tyler Munis from the HCI platform to the dHCI.

Phase 2 of the dHCI upgrade includes converting all other County core software services.

This hardware platform is the foundation from where almost all core software systems are hosted and operate. Systems include Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), network control and management systems, wireless control and extensive database and data storage. Phase 1 accomplished this platform upgrade replacing an existing HCI (HyperConverged Infrastructure) platform that was end-of-life. This next and final phase includes the conversion of Tyler Munis from the HCI platform to the dHCI.
