Annual Self Evaluation of the Board of Public Utilities

The Board will begin the annual self-evaluation of its own performance as outlined in section 3.9 of the BPU Procedures Manual. The current self-evaluation follows the template taken from the APPA Handbook for Public Power Policymakers. The Board agreed to request responses from DPU senior management, the County Assistant Attorney, County Manager, and the Council Chair and Vice Chair. Approval of this year's Self Evaluation is scheduled for November 18, 2026 regular meeting.

The Board could choose to postpone this item.
The survey results will be emailed to the Board and Staff on Monday, November 2, 2026. Two BPU members were on travel at the time the meeting packet was published and stated that they would complete the evaluation by Friday, October 30, 2026.
