Inclusivity Task Force Interim Report and Possible Action on Changes to the Charter

I move that Council approve the revised Inclusivity Task Force Charter with a new term expiration date of February 28, 2026.

The Inclusivity Task Force recommended this change to their Charter at their June 18, 2025 meeting.
Body
Council created the Inclusivity Task Force and approved their charter on August 6, 2024 and revised the charter in February 2025 . This task force has begun their work and are currently meeting approximately every three weeks. This item includes the Task Force's Interim Report which is shown in Attachment B.
Part of the report to Council is a recommendation to extend the term of the Task Force from November 2025 to February 2026. Attachment A shows the current charter for the Inclusivity Task Force. This item is to allow discussion and possible action on the Charter change recommended by the Inclusivity Task Force.
Alternatives
County Council could decide not to make any changes to the charter.
Fiscal and Staff Impact/Planned Item
There is no fiscal or staff impact due to this item. Council approved additional Board and Commission staff support in the Fiscal Year 2025 Adopted Budget.
