Recommended Action
I move that Council approve Task Order No.5, Revision 2 under Services Agreement No. AGR-22-21d with Lloyd and Associates in the Amount of $174,616.00 plus Applicable Gross Receipts Tax to Incorporate Specialized Technology, Furniture, Equipment, and Additional Sustainability Features in the Construction Documents for the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) at Fire Station 3.

Body
In early 2024, County Police, Fire and Public Works Departments in collaboration with Lloyd and Associates Architects (architect of record) completed the planning and conceptual design phase for an Emergency Operations Center (EOC). In December 2025, Council approved Revision 1 to Task Order 5 with Lloyd and Associates Architects to develop construction documents and provide the associated construction administration services.
The project team has actively discussed the integration of specialized technology, furniture, and equipment needed to deliver a turnkey EOC. The specialized technology consists of video-wall display panel, emergency communications equipment, audio visual package in conference rooms, and all ancillary data wire and terminations. These furniture, equipment, and specialized technology are critical to enhancing multi-agency coordination, maintaining public safety, and continuity of government during the response to emergencies.
