Proclamation Declaring June 7, 2025 as "ChamberFest Day in Los Alamos County" (Accepted by Sandy Jones, Chamber Director)

WHEREAS, the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce and its parent organization, the Los Alamos Commerce & Development Corporation, host the annual ChamberFest Street Fair to offer an opportunity for residents and visitors alike to engage with our Chamber Member small businesses and nonprofit organizations to highlight and celebrate the diversity and vitality of the Los Alamos County community; and
WHEREAS, the ChamberFest Street Fair provides a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere along Central Avenue and in Central Park Square, transforming the Los Alamos downtown into a vibrant celebration of commerce, creativity, and community spirit with music, food vendors, activities for children, and interactive booths; and
WHEREAS, ChamberFest plays a vital role in strengthening connections between Chamber Member businesses and the public, encouraging discovery, engagement, and continued support of the local economy; and
WHEREAS, this annual celebration is made possible through the generosity and partnership of sponsors including Lead Sponsor Enterprise Bank & Trust, Exit Realty, N3B, and donations from Los Alamos Transit Mix, and Petree Garden Center. In addition, numerous local merchants, volunteers, and various County departments contribute time and resources to make this annual event a success.
NOW, THEREFORE, on behalf of the Council of the Incorporated County of Los Alamos, I do hereby proclaim Saturday, June 7, 2025, as
"CHAMBERFEST DAY IN LOS ALAMOS COUNTY"
and encourage all residents and visitors to take part in the festivities, support our local business community, and celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit that makes Los Alamos County a dynamic place to live, work, and play.
