Recommended Motion
I move that Council Approve Amendment 2 to Services Agreement No. AGR23-921 between Los Alamos County and Avail Technologies, Inc. with the Total Compensation Amount of $395,837.22 which includes travel and reimbursable expenses but does not include Applicable Gross Receipts Tax, for the Purchase of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Components and Services.
County Manager's Recommendation
The County Manager recommends that Council approve the motion as presented.
Body
Los Alamos County and Avail Technologies, Inc. entered into Agreement AGR23-921 on August 9, 2023 for Software and Hardware Support Services. Council approved Amendment 1 (AGR23-921A1) on October 18, 2023 which modified the term of the agreement.

The County desires to upgrade Atomic City Transit’s (“ACT”) existing in-vehicle technology to the latest hardware to provide additional capabilities beyond the existing platform and enable ACT to transition a subset of the vehicle fleet to the latest generation system. Amendment 2 will include the new hardware under the list of covered equipment and amend the compensation for support of this new hardware upon completion of the upgrade.

Atomic City Transit (ATC) continues to increase ridership by improving the rider’s experience; improve efficiencies on many levels, including the utilization of buses and personnel as well as the collection of data for federal Transit Administration (FTA) reporting.
