Recommended Action
I nominate Jennifer Jenson and Jennifer Olsen to fill two vacancies on the Lodgers' Tax Advisory Board and move that Council appoint the nominees to the vacant positions for a first term ending on December 1, 2024.
Body
The purpose of this item is to fill two (2) vacancies on the Lodgers' Tax Advisory Board. Both applicants are well-qualified to serve on the Board. Ms. Jenson will fill the vacancy for a Community-at-Large representative and Ms. Olsen will fill the Tourism Industry vacancy.
The applicants for the positions are:
Jennifer Jenson, Los Alamos resident [D]
Jennifer Olsen, Los Alamos resident [R]
Interviews were completed on December 3, 2021.
Party affiliations are noted as [D] Democrat, [R] Republican, [I] Independent, [G] Green, [L] Libertarian, [DTS] Declined to State, and [N] Not Registered to Vote.
