I move that the APP Board recommend to Council the option of fixing the Crane Unfolding Statue, not to exceed $_____.
Body
It was brought to APP's attention that Richard Box' sculpture, Crane Unfolding, was recently damaged (Attachment A). Staff took the sculpture to a local machine shop to determine if it could be fixed locally, but due to the construction of the sculpture, it was recommended that the Board reach out to the artist for his evaluation. The artist requested that the sculpture be mailed to him so he could evaluate the damage and proceed with a quote if it could be fixed.
