Presentation and Possible Acceptance of the Inclusivity Task Force Final Report

Recommended Action

I move that Council accept the Inclusivity Task Force final report.

Board, Commission or Committee Recommendation

The Inclusivity Task Force recommended sending this final report with recommendations to Council at their February 18, 2026 meeting.

Body

Council created the Inclusivity Task Force and approved their charter on August 6, 2024 and revised the charter in February and June 2025.  This Task Force met approximately every three weeks and listened to many presenters on various topics.  The Task Force also created several working groups to further focus their work.

 

Attachment A contains the final report.  Rachel Cazier, Member of Inclusivity Task Force, will present this report that includes near-term and long-term solutions identified by the Task Force.

Fiscal and Staff Impact/Planned Item

Fiscal and staff impacts would need to be evaluated depending on the recommendations that Council would like implemented.
