Discussion Regarding the Scope, Schedule and Budget of the Los Alamos Public Schools and CommuntyJoint-Use New Recreation Facility at the North Mesa Middle School Campus Project

Body

In FY2019, the County received $350K of state grant funds to design a joint-use Los Alamos Public Schools (LAPS) and Los ALamos County (LAC) recreational gymnasium facility to be located on the Middle School Campus. The grant agreement was received in February 2021, and preliminary coordination meetings between LAPS and LAC staff occurred between March and May of 2021. During the coordination meetings, staff identified project constraints and gaps and are seeking feedback as outlined in the presentation (Attachment A) to confirm the general project goals and criteria before a design services RFP is issued.
