Introductory Overview of the Community Health Action Center Project Scope and Schedule

On September 4, 2025, the Los Alamos Health Council recommended approval of the Community Health Action Center Working Group’s recommendations (Attachment A).
Staff utilized the Working Group’s recommendations to develop a scope of work for planning and conceptual design services with and on-call consultant.
Staff will present to Council an introductory overview of the Community Health Action Center Project. This overview includes project scope, budget, project team, and schedule as detailed in Attachment B.
Fiscal and Staff Impact/Planned Item
Funds for the design of the Community Health Action Center are programmed in FY 2026 in the Capital Improvements Projects Fund for a total of $950,000. No staff impacts are anticipated.
