Presentation of Draft Climate Action Plan and Commencement of Public Comment Period

Cascadia Consulting Group (Cascadia), in partnership with Los Alamos County, will provide an update on the Climate Action Plan (CAP) development process, including an overview of the draft climate action plan, community engagement efforts, and target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Utilizing an online platform, the community will be invited to provide feedback, comments and concerns for one month, starting July 9 through August 9, 2024. Cascadia and County staff will review public comments and integrate them into the final climate action plan. The final climate action plan will be presented to County Council in October 2024.
