I move that Council reappoint David Hampton and Karen Edwards to fill two vacancies on the Transportation Board, with terms expiring February 28, 2027.

This item involves filling both vacancies on the Transportation Board, with applicants David Hampton and Karen Edwards seeking reappointment for a second term.
The Transportation Board is a seven-member body with staggered two-year terms beginning March 1 and ending February 28. The current member roster is included as Attachment A.
Following interviews conducted on February 6, 2025, the interview panel recommends the reappointment of the following applicants:
• David Hampton [D]
• Karen Edwards [R]
Party affiliations are indicated as follows: [D] Democrat, [R] Republican, [I] Independent, [G] Green, [L] Libertarian, [DTS] Declined to State, and [N] Not Registered to Vote. These affiliations have been verified with the Clerk's Office.

Reappointment of the two applicants will not violate the County Charter restriction concerning political party majorities on Boards and Commissions.
