Recommended Action
I move that Council adopt Incorporated County of Los Alamos Resolution No. 02-18; A Calling on Congress to Enact a Campaign Finance Regulation Amendment.
Body
Councilor Sheehey has requested that this item be considered by Council. The intent of the resolution is to express a desire to address the disproportionate influence of unlimited spending within our nation's political system.
Alternatives
Council could choose to not approve the resolution, or to direct staff to alter the resolution and return with a revised version.
