Update on Deliverable 5,Relationship with Darrin's Place - MOU is not necessary and is not appropriate since Darrin's Place is a non-profit organization. We have arranged and agreed to have a referral process in place for Los Alamos County residents. Darrin's Place has ensured beds will be available. Darrin's place has a women's, men's, and trans-gender beds available.
Another consideration is to develop an MOU with Rio Arriba County Health and Human Services Department in place of the MOU with Darrin's Place for the aftercare and intensive case management with Los Alamos County Residents who complete their stay at Darrin's Place. Rio Arriba is in the process of developing a formal relationship with Darrin's Place regarding the continued follow-up intensive case management services for individuals aftercare to help ensure success.
