Recommended Action
I nominate Oral Saulters to fill one (1) vacancy on the Los Alamos Resiliency, Energy and Sustainability Task Force and move that Council appoint Mr. Saulters to the vacant position to serve the remainder of the term which ends on February 20, 2022. I further move that Council acknowledge and approve Mr. Saulter’s concurrent service on the Los Alamos Resiliency, Energy and Sustainability Task Force and the Racial Equity and Inclusivity Task Force.

The purpose of this item is to fill one (1) vacancy on the Los Alamos Resiliency, Energy and Sustainability Task Force. The term of this vacant position began on January 26, 2021 and will end February 20, 2022. This vacancy is a result of resignation from this board.
The one applicant for this position is Oral Saulters. Mr. Saulter’s application and letter of interest is provided in Attachment A. Mr. Saulters currently serves on the Racial Equity and Inclusivity Task Force. Pursuant to Section 8-7(g) of the County Code, concurrent service on more than one board or commission requires the Council to acknowledge and approve concurrent service on more than one board or commission in the motion appointing the nominee.
