The Sunflower donation, restoration and installation was approved by County Council on Sept. 29^th, and the Formal Donation Acceptance form was completed Oct. 21, 2020. Sunflower is in possession of Los Alamos County, and Katherine is working with Steve Huebner and Procurement to establish an RFP for the work needed to be done. On April 2^nd, Katherine met with Steve Huebner and now has the draft RFP in her possession. Edits will be made to align with the scope of the project and will then be sent to procurement for review, and then to legal. As of June 7^th, the RFP for the Sunflower project is ready to be advertised, however Public Works would like to wait a month so that this project can be assigned to Steve’s replacement. Therefore, this project is on hold until around July 7^th.
