Approval of Memorandum of Understanding with Santa Fe County for Economic Development Projects, including Broadband, and Programming Related to Community Development
Recommended Action
I move that the Council approve the Memorandum of Understanding with Santa Fe County for economic development projects, including broadband, and programming related to community development, and authorize the County Manager to sign the Memorandum of Understanding with Santa Fe County.

The County Manager recommends that Council approve the Memorandum of Understanding with Santa Fe County as requested.
Body
Santa Fe County and Los Alamos County economic development and broadband staff have discussed the potential benefit on partnering on projects that have regional benefit. This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) acknowledges the potential and willingness of both entities to work together when mutually beneficial opportunities arise. The MOU does not include any specific project or fiscal obligation by either party and has been reviewed by Santa Fe County. Specific projects will be defined as appendices to this MOU.
Fiscal and Staff Impact/Planned Item
Any fiscal impacts resulting form identified project or program opportunities will require separate approvals outside of this MOU.
