County Manager's Recommendation
The County Manager recommends that Council approve Budget Revision 2022-67 as requested.
Body
At the beginning of the 2022 budget year, we allocated 0.05% of the road projects to the Arts In Public Places (AIPP) organization under the CIP fund. Some of the road projects are partially or fully grant funded and should not be considered for allocation to AIPP. This entry reallocates the AIPP amounts back to the respective projects that are partially or fully grant funded.
The Federal Aviation Administration has granted Los Alamos Airport the Rescue Grant under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The grant is to provide funding for costs related to operations, personnel, cleaning, sanitization, janitorial services, combating the spread of pathogens at the airport, and debt service payments.
Alternatives
Council could choose not to approve Budget Revision 2022-67. The impact would be that the existing airport operations and the concerned CIP projects may be negatively impacted.
Fiscal and Staff Impact/Planned Item
There is no staff impact as a result of this budget revision. Financial impact is summarized in the attached budget revision.
