Social Services Updates:
Thank you to Member Lori Padilla and Council Liaison Keith Lepsch for assisting with the new member interview process. We enjoyed learning about all of the candidates. Welcome to new and reappointed members.
The Social Services Management Analyst - Health Equity/Comprehensive Health Plan Position has been filled. We look forward to welcoming Emily Piltch to our team - she will start on August 8th. An amendment to the Health Equity and Community Rebuilding Project (Kellogg grant) with minor revisions was approved in July and we are excited about starting Year 2 and moving forward with the items on our Action Plan.
July was a busy month with many calls, walk ins, and scheduled appointments to assist new and existing clients. We are using a Google form to track our daily activities. The most common reasons for referral were assistance with food stability, Medicaid, housing, and the indigent burial program.
