Body

Chapter 16 of the County's Municipal Code is the County's zoning and development code, defining how properties in specific geographic zones can be used and developed. Module 1 of the code update contains revisions to use regulations, Module 2 of the code update contains revisions to development standards, including district-specific standards, off-street parking, landscaping, outdoor lighting, walls and fences, and signage, and Module 3 of the code update contains revisions to the section of Chapter 16 pertaining to administrative and enforcement provisions.

The presentation is intended to inform the Council of the current status of the code update, provide discussion on recommendations determined through the steering committee review, public input, and Planning & Zoning Commission process, and for Council to provide discussion with possible action on recommendations on specific draft Module 1, 2, & 3 subjects.
